It’s Monday.. and time to get back to work!

October 29th, 2007 Robert Imbriale No comments

It sure feels great to be back at home, and back in front of my phone and computers!

You never really know how much you rely on the little things in life until they
aren’t available.

This morning, it’s still smoky outside, and wearing a face mask is still required to
keep the soot out of your lungs. But it has been getting better each day.

On the weekend, Phoebe and I took a short tour of the burn area here and I must say,
although the media focused on the 206 homes that were lost in our town, they could
have really told us how many more homes were saved!

It was incredible to see areas totally burned out, and right in the middle of it all,
was a home. It wasn’t burned, it was standing and looked absolutely normal. And it it
weren’t for the fact that all the landscaping around it had been turned to ash, you
might never know a fire had roared past it.

We saw entire mountain sides dotted with homes just like this. The fires seemed to
have passed around them without causing any visible damage.

Maybe this is where the credit really needs to go the firefighters who did their best
to protect as many homes as possible under what could very well have been described
as disastrous conditions by any measure.

Where the fire was not able to be stopped, as in the local water treatment plant, the
destruction was total and complete. All that remains of our local water treatment
plant are cement conduit for the water and a staircase that rises up from the ground
and goes nowhere.

For us, it’s time to vacuum up the ash, get the pool cleaned out (the bottom is
black, not the usual bright blue it normally is) and by all means keep the windows
closed and the air filters on “High!”

And right now, taking some “detox” supplements is not only a good idea, it’s the best
thing you can do to protect yourself against the high levels of toxins in the air.

Keep in mind, it’s not just wood that burned here. It was houses, chemicals, paints,
plastics, gas, oil, and everything else you could think of finding in a home. With
about 1,500 homes burned to the ground, that’s a lot of toxic fumes let loose in the
small area we know as San Diego.

Breathing this mix of smoke and toxins is indeed dangerous.

The good news is that today, I get back to work. It’s exactly one week to the day
that the fires hit our area. And it was a week that will go down in the history
books.

Seminar Update: Motivational Wealth

This seminar has been rescheduled and will take place here in San Diego on December
7-9, 2007

By then, the air will once again be clean and crisp, and the mess caused by the fires
will be completely cleaned up and we’ll be back to perfect weather once again!

There is more information on the seminar posted at http://www.MotivationalWealth.com

Fire Update for Thursday October 25, 2007

October 25th, 2007 Robert Imbriale No comments

Why let a little fire ruin your plans for success? This morning, I followed through with a planned interview with Dan Kennedy. Although my plan was to do this interview from my own studio, using my professional recording gear, that just wasn’t possible, so instead, I did the interview from a portable hand-held phone with a scratchy phone connection.

Good news came later in the day when we were able to return home, ahead of the crowds. When I got home, I can’t tell you what a joy it was to see my new home standing there, 100% intact. It was covered in ash, and the pool had turned black, but otherwise, all is well.

The big thing now is the air. It’s horrible. My office smells like a building would smell after a fire. The air is trapped in the house and opening the windows at this stage would only serve to make matters worse since the air outside is many more times polluted.

When you have these kinds of fires, it’s not the smoke from the burning or grass and trees that’s the problem. It’s the multiple hundreds of homes and businesses that were left to burn to the ground. All the plastics, chemicals, computers, solvents, cleaners, and other highly toxic materials that burned created this very polluted air.

With luck, within a few days, the on-shore breezes will return us to the fresh ocean air we’re used to around here. Until that time, keep the windows shut, and use a mask if you go outside even for a moment.

Back to business. I was indeed able to get connected again to the Internet today and was balke to check more than 1,500 e-mail messages that had arrived in my inbox over the past 3 days.

A big THANK YOU to all of you who have sent messages of concern. I will do my best to reply to each and every one of you, personally. Just know that your concern is very humbling and very much appreciated.

Friday, I intend on working to get caught up again on some of the things that got dropped in our haste to evacuate on Monday. So stay tuned and I’ll post those updates here as they happen.

The ‘Rice” Fire Update for Wednesday October 24, 2007

October 24th, 2007 Robert Imbriale No comments

Well, as you might imagine, things change here as fast as the wind changes direction, Our plan yesterday was looking good. We wanted to leave our shelter and head back home and be on track to holding ourseminar just as planned this coming weekend.

Getting up this morning and looking at the news, and seeing that the fires instead of getting smaller, had actually increased in size over-night, was not what we were expecting to hear.

I called the hotel where our seminar was scheduled to be held, and they REALLY needed those rooms for people who had been displaced by these massive fires.

We have officially rescheduled the Motivational Wealth event for the weekend of December 7th, 2007, here in San Diego. By that time, this little town of ours will be pretty much back on track.

Also today, the fire that was closing in our house grew by nearly 40%, and is still out of control, tonight, Wednesday. We have not update yet on the house, but we assume all is well there.

So, we’re still here, still in a waiting state looking at the news and searching for those little tidbits of information we can assemble that will allow us to make the best decisions on what’s coming next.

The ironic part? A short time ago, we were told to evacuate from our host’s home by the local Sherriff as two fires are currently converging on the area! Does the fun ever end?

I don’t have an update yet on what we’re going to do, but stay tuned and I’ll post an update here as soon as we know what our next step will be.

Life is always filled with surprises!

Did Robert Make Through the “Rice” Wild Fire?

October 23rd, 2007 Robert Imbriale No comments

As you probably know by now, southern California has seen its share of out-of-control wildfires in the past few days.

On Monday, I began my week, much like any other, getting on the phone and working with my consulting clients. Outside my window, in the distance was a small puff of smoke, and I didn’t pay much attention to it.

It was hot, It was dry, and I was focused on helping my clients. At about 10am, Phoebe, my lovely finacee, came into my office and told me we should prepare for a rough ride as the little puff of smoke outside my window had become one of 10 wildfires that were being driven hard by hot, dry winds, gusting to over 75 miles per hour in our area.

We went out to buy some food, the lines at the gas station were nearly half a mile long, and the small town of Fallbrook was buzzing with folks in various stages of panic.

We returned home, and I completed tw more consulting calls. I kept my eye on the sky outside my window, and although it was a bright a sunny day out with clear blue skies, the sky I was seeing was black with smoke.

The front edge of the fire was heading directly towards my office window, and I began to see a shower of ash rain down on us.

I went outside to have a closer look, spoke with a neighbor who was by then up on his roof watering it because hot embers had begun to fall onto his home. I grabbed my hose and did the same to a part of our home that seemed vulnerable to me.

Not long after that, the Sherff stopped by, lights flashing and ordered us to evacutate as the fire had more than tripled in size and had already gobbled up nearly 100 homes less than a mile and half from us.

At that point, the winds were driving the flames along in all directions, and there was no telling what would burn next. It was quite the experience.

What do you grab when you are faced with the risk losing it all? I went for my customer database. I grabbed the server and stuffed it into the car FIRST. I figured if all else was lost, I could still do business with my customers. Then I went back for the credit cards, the pets, a few days worth of clothes.

We left, and have been out of the house since Monday and hope to return sometime on Wednesday, as long as the winds die down and stay down.

Roads are blocked, power is out, and all 45,000 in our town are living someplace else. Today, the numbers look like this. Nearly 600 homes have been lost (ours was safe) and more than 6,100 acres scorched.

They now say they will have this particular fire, now known as the “Rice Fire” containted by November 1st. Yes more than  a week from today! And I’m sure if you’re watching the news, you’re hearing about this and the “Witch Fire” and the “Harris Fire,” the largest of those buring in San Diego county.

These things burn hot and can often smolder for days and can flare back up at anytime with just a little puff of wind, and that’s what makes them so dangerous.

It’s been a great learning experience for me, and I’m sure I’m not alone in those sentiments. You always learn a lot when you face these kinds of sitatuations, and now I’ve got a few new, and very powerful stories for my seminars.

Now, the updates:

 1) The Motivational Wealth Event scheduled for this coming weekend (October 26-28) will go on as planned. At this point, it seems the worst is behind us and the city of San Diego is starting to recover already. So the show will go on! The airport is open and in the area where the hotel is, there were NO fires, so all is very normal in that area.

2) To my consulting clients whom I was not able to work with this week as planned, my sincere apologies. We will be able to get back on track again this coming week. Please contact me to confirm our next meeting.

3) I fully expect to back up to speed again by Tuesday of next week, if not earlier.

I’m safe, my home and office are safe, and I’m excited about getting back to work!

4) If you have e-mailed me, please know that I have NOT been able to check e-mail at all, but will answer all your messages as quickly as I can.

Thank you for your patience and concern.

I’m here to help you get what you really want…

October 8th, 2007 Robert Imbriale No comments

Like you, I’m always looking for more in life. I want more
customers, more business relationships, more computers, more
software, more traveling, and more fun from all of it.

We share these desires I’m sure. Yet, how many times have you
heard about a person who wants all these things but never seem to
get anywhere.

Yet when you look closer, what you far too often
find is that they are glued solid to their seat, they won’t do
even one thing differently than they have in the past, and they
still sit there and expect things to improve!

You can clearly see this is insanity. You’ve got to do something
differently than you’ve been doing if you expect to create a
different result for yourself.

Instead of complaining about your current situation, do something
to change it.

http://www.MotivationalWealth.com

Instead of giving away all your power to people and things that
don’t matter, put it use where it will make a difference.

http://www.MotivationalWealth.com

The point is simple. If you want more, you’ve got to change what
you’ve been doing day after day that is creating in your life
more of what you don’t want.

The only challenge here is it you can’t figure it out on your
own. It’s next to impossible to solve a problem using the same
mind that created it in the first place!

So the first step to making real change in your life is to get
help from somebody else.

Yes, a mentor, a coach, a trainer, or whatever you wish to call
them. The reason is simple. They have NO emotional attachment to
what you’re doing or not doing.

They don’t have the beliefs about things you do and so they are
well-positioned to help get you to the next level in your life..
and get there fast!

I should know, I’ve been coaching people since 1995 and nothing
is more exciting than to see your client rocket off to success.

The challenge is that it’s not cheap to hire me. In fact, my
latest rates for a single coaching session are at $1,750.00!

While that rate might not be for everybody, for those that work
with me, the results they see make their investment pay for
itself many times over.

While I know I can’t work with everybody, I can offer some
powerful coaching to you for a mere fraction of the cost of my
regular 1-on-1 coaching sessions. This is done in the form of a
weekend seminar, where I’ll take you through the steps to getting
beyond what’s been keeping you from achieving the successes you
want most in your life.

This next event is limited to just 15 people, and as of this
writing, there are just 5 seats left in this event.

What this event will give you is plenty of face-to-face time with
a person who knows what it takes to succeed, and who has binders
full of success stories from more than a dozen years of coaching
business professionals at all levels.

In just a single weekend, you will gain the ability to crush any
obstacle that has been keeping you from what you really want in
life.

You’ll be able to better motivate yourself to move in the
direction YOU want to go, and you’ll be able to simply tune-out
the naysayers in your life so they never again stop you from
getting what you want.

BUT, you can’t get any of this information by sitting at home!!

There will be no DVD’s of this event. There will be no audio CD’s
or transcripts of this event.

This event is far too PERSONAL to make it valuable to anybody who
is not going to be in that room!

My only question for you now is: are you going to let yet another
chance to live your dreams pass you by, or will you step up and
grab one of the 5 remaining seats and finally get your life on
the path you’ve been dreaming about for so long?

http://www.MotivationalWealth.com

It’s easy to ignore this invitation. It’s easy to find excuses
not to attend. It’s easy to stay home and keep doing what you’ve
always been doing. But it’s really hard to keep living life
getting what you’ve always gotten instead of what you really want.

This is a call to action for you. What you do with this message
will likely determine what happens in your life for years to
come.

I can’t twist your arm to make the decision now to come. All I
can do is invite you.

Will you be among the 15 who step up and really make a
difference, or will you be among the millions more who never do?

Go to http://www.MotivationalWealth.com

Enroll now before those last few seats are filled. It will be the
best decision you’ve every made.. I promise you.

I’ll see you in San Diego October 26th!

P.S. Regular enrollment for this event has closed. There are just
5 seats remaining, and you have been invited to claim one (or
more) of those seats now. Go to http://www.MotivationalWealth.com

The Secret to Creating True Success

October 5th, 2007 Robert Imbriale No comments

About 3 years ago, the movie “The Secret” started to appear on web sites all over the
globe. It was quite the event, and to this day, that movie continues to be viewed by
millions of people.

Like many who watched that movie, I was motivated by the core message in the movie.
But somehow I knew there was more to the story that just didn’t “fit” into the format
of this film.

Since that time, I have personally embarked upon a virtually non- stop  expedition to
get my hands on those pieces that were left out of the movie.

I’ve bought more books than could ever fit in my personal library. I’ve watched hour
after hour of video from seminars on the topic of the “law of attraction,” and I’ve
been doing my own personal testing of much of what I’ve found.

It’s been quite the personal crusade, and it’s not over yet!

But what is over is the long hard search for the underlying pieces that were kept
from you.

My search has now shifted into sharing what I’ve uncovered with a very select group
of people who will be joining me in San Diego at the end of the month.

I’ve been working hard preparing the course manual that they will receive.. and in
it, they will have EVERYTHING they need to effectively use the law of attraction to
create success in all areas of their lives.

Money is great, and it’s a wonderful tool to have access to, but that alone does not
make you a success. You will have the money to what you want, and you’ll also have
the physical health, fulfilling relationships, and plenty of time to enjoy it all
too.

The fact is that you can indeed have it all.

You can indeed do what you want when you want.

But, in order to be able to get to that place, you’ve first got to let go of much of
the incorrect training you’ve had over the course of your lifetime.

Relax, it’s not hard at all to let go.. in fact, once you do it, you’ll love how easy
it is and you’ll get what you want faster every time!

Now, the only thing you really must do today, is to make a decision. You have two
choices to make.

1) You can decide to do nothing. And you could pretty much keep getting the same
results you’ve been getting, but still have “hope” that someday, somewhere, something
will happen that will make things better. (Answer: they won’t!)

2) You can decide that you’re ready, really ready to do something that changes the
course of your life starting today. (Answer: Yes!)

Far too often we fall victim to doing what we’ve always done and expecting things to
get better.

Far fewer people ever realize that in order for things in your life to improve, it’s
YOU that has to change, not anything or anybody else.

Try this little experiment today, wherever you are.

Treat the person in your life who causes you the most grief differently than you
usually do and see what happens. It’s not them that’s making the change, it’s you.
And once you make a small shift in how you’re being in the moment, everything around
you responds to that shift and life gets better.

I really do want to see you at my upcoming Motivational Wealth event in San Diego.

I know you’re busy and have dozens of really great excuses why you can’t make it. And
I also know that you want more out of your life. I know how frustrating it is for you
day after day doing things you hate and being around people who simply annoy you to
no end.

You want something better, and it starts right now.

Click on this link to enroll immediately in Motivational Wealth:

http://www.MotivationalWealth.com

In just a few short hours, you’ll have the tools you need to make huge strides in
your life in the direction of what you believe to be success for you.

The group in attendance will be TINY… just 15 people and you must do what you can
to be one of them.

Go to: http://www.MotivationalWealth.com

Get enrolled for just $497 and be in a position to really make things better in your
life instead of getting more and more of the same.

I’ll see you there!
