What’s the BEST Business to Own Right Now?

September 23rd, 2008 Robert Imbriale No comments

There’s always great benefit to any trend, be it good or bad. While you might be wondering what in the world is going on right now with the economy, gas at $4 or more per gallon, and companies laying folks off by the dozen, you might do better thinking about how to prosper from it all instead.

This downturn in our economy is a TREND, and in any trend you can either get swept away OR you can get on the leading edge of it and reap huge financial gains from it all.

Think about a surfer – in California they are always in the water waiting for that next wave. If they hit the wave just right, they get to ride it all the way to the shore. If they wait too long, they completely miss out on the ride and have to sit and wait for the next wave to appear.

Right now is the best time for you to position yourself to BENEFIT from the changes that lie ahead for
us all.

There are a few chioce professions that will acutally GROW substantially over the next few years, and that is where you want to be right now. Instead of sitting back hoping that all will be well for you, why not get ahead of the trend and ride it like a champion instead?

This Thursday, I’d like you to listen in as I speak with Terri Levine about all that’s going on out there and what you can do to position yourself RIGHT NOW to be in the best possible position to WIN in this economic climate.

There is no cost for your to listen, and you can even tune in over the Internet and listen right on your computer. You’ll also be able to send in your questions before and during the event, so you can be part of it all!

Mark your calendar for Thursday September 25, 2008!

The event begins a 3pm EST (12 noon PST) and it’ll take place right here:

http://www.UWIRadio.com

Now is not the time to take chances with your future. Get the facts and put yourself in the best position you can to not only survive, but thrive in a down economy!

The problem with building a successful business is…

September 19th, 2008 Robert Imbriale No comments

There are few real secrets when it comes to building a successful business. Yet when I meet so many would-be successful business owners, I hear stories and tales of how things just aren’t “working out” for them.

These days, it’s even harder for many business owners to get to that point where money is no longer an issue.

You might think that marketing is the answer, yet more often than not, marketing alone doesn’t help all that much. In fact, many times adding more marketing to the mix simply messes things up even more.

And building your business alone is always a disaster. While you may think you can figure all this stuff out by yourself, when you look at the bigger picture, at best, you’ll be mediocre at most of what you try to accomplish.

So what’s the answer? A big part of the answer is creating your team of both advisors and experts. You need to have somebody looking in on what you’re doing, not to judge you, but to help keep you on track. And you also need experts on your team to accomplish tasks 100 times better than you ever could by doing it yourself.

If you’re serious about your business, and you’re ready to take it to next level, this is a step you must take. You’ve got to get some outside help.

I’ve been doing a lot of reading recently about all these new “Web 2.0″ social networking businesses, and every single time, they have built a team around them. No wonder they are changing the Internet as we know it and getting bought out for Billions of dollars in the process.

If you think about it, many minds are always better than just one at solving any problem. So what can you do today to start building your team?

Make your wish list. On the list, write down the names, or at least the titles, of the people you’d most like to have on your team.

My list looks like this:

- Public Relations Person
- Event Organizer for my seminars
- Product Manager for my new and existing programs
- Personal Assistant to manage my schedule and office

These are people I’m actively seeking, so if you have any ideas on who you might recommend to help fill some of these positions, please do let me know.

What does your list look like?

Do you need help from a business professional to help you design and create a business that will give you the kind of lifestyle you really want?

How about some help with your marketing?

Maybe you just need a hand picking a business that you’d really enjoy.

Whatever it is, you can let me know right now, and I’ll have a look at my list of resources to see who I might be able to refer to you. Make your list, then send it to me at robert@ultimatewealth.com

Just put the words “My List” in your subject line so I know to look at your message and I will.

I’m here to help you get what you want, all you have to do is let me know what that is.

Have a great weekend!

P. S. Remember to send me your list, even it’s on the weekend because I will be checking my e-mail this weekend! Send it to robert@ultimatewealth.com and put the words “My List” in the subject line.

What to do when your sales are down, way down

September 16th, 2008 Robert Imbriale No comments

There is something really enjoyable about watching a business go from having a rough time to making it into the record books. While it’s very tough on the business owner to be in a position of not having the income to do what they want to do with their business, it doesn’t have to be this way.

More often than not, it’s really a simple adjustment that’s needed in order to get a business back on track. The hard part for the business owner is in knowing what that adjustment should be.

I know what it’s like to be in the position of running a business that’s just not going anywhere. The emotional stress alone is enough to knock you off your game, and it’s what makes it increasingly hard to find your way out.

There are a few things you can do to help yourself out of a tight spot in your business. The first, and probably the most effective way to get your business back on track is to work with somebody like me who has been helping business owners to get their business out of the ruts they find themselves in. This is not
just a job for me, it’s something I truly enjoy.

Another thing you can do is try something you have not tried before. A great example of this is a client of mine who has relied 100% on e-mail marketing to build his business. He did so well in 2000 to about 2003 that he thought he’d be set for life.

E-mail is indeed a very powerful marketing tool – when you can get it into the hands of those on your list. As you know, since 2003, that task has become increasingly difficult, if not impossible in many cases.

Hold onto your hat for a moment as we go back to the year 2000, a time when e-mail marketing was king and getting 85% of your list to open your messages was expected. All you really needed back then was a good list and a decent message to send to your list and you were doing great!

Today, just a few short years later, people are happy if 3% actually open their e-mail messages!

You can imagine what happened to my client and so many other businesses that relied on e-mail for their marketing. You guessed it, most are today out of business. And personally, I don’t see the e-mail situation improving any time soon.

To find the answer to as what to do next, you have to roll back the clock to a time before e-mail marketing was king – a king that ruled the marketing universe for better than 100 years – direct mail marketing.

When my client first heard me talking about this he didn’t want to have anything to do with it. Then we looked at his sales year after year since 2000. From 2003 onward, sales dropped 40 – 80% a year. At that rate, he had less than a year to go before he’d be out of business.

He agreed to try some direct mail. His first mailing was a small postcard he had printed up at a local copy shop. Black type on a bright yellow paper. He sent it out to all those who had purchased something in the last 6 months. He made back 5 times his investment in the postage in just a few days.

Now he was hooked and is working on getting out new postcards every month, and for the first time in 5 years, his business is once again growing.

If you don’t already have a copy of my Direct Mail Marketing Secrets program, now is the time to grab it, listen to it, and use the strategies I share in there.

Get it here: http://www.UltimateWealth.com/dms.htm

And be sure to tell your friends that they need their own copy of this program too because it contains the keys to making direct mail marketing work.

If you prefer to get this information directly from me instead, or need a more personalized approach to turning your business around, have a look here:

Either way, you’ve got to do something different than you’ve been doing if you want to see things change in a big way for you. I’m here to help you and would be happy to hear from you.

At that moment, it seemed like all was lost..

September 11th, 2008 Robert Imbriale No comments

It’s funny how different things look through the filter of time. I’ll bet you remember exactly where you were and what you were doing the morning of September 11, 2001.

Like most people, I woke up here on the west coast AFTER both towers of the World Trade Center had collapsed. The news was the same on every station, on every web site, in every newspaper.

Regardless of where you looked, you saw those same pictures, and read the same commentary about the events that had unfolded that day.

At that moment in time, it seemed like the world was coming to an end. Nothing else mattered, nobody was working, shopping, or even talking about anything other than what was happening in NY and Washington.

Today, 7 years later, things look so very different though the filter of time.

We now see this event as an isolated event and not the end of the world. We now feel we know who was behind it all and we’ve done what we thought was needed to stop this from happening again. Life, it would seem is pretty much back to normal.

And it didn’t take 7 years for that to happen. If you remember, things pretty much got back to normal within weeks or months of September 11, 2001. This is what happens when you add the element of time into the mix.

Some people are right now going through their own personal 9-11. Finances may be a problem, relationships may be failing, or maybe it’s a health challenge that you’re dealing with.

While in the moment, things might appear bleak, and even at times, hopeless, it’s not how it will be days, weeks, or months from now.

This is nothing you don’t know, it’s just something we tend to forget in the heat of the moment. So take a deep breath, and put your focus back on the way you want things to be in your life rather than on the way that they are now.

Doing this will help you to relax and to see that whatever it is that’s going on in your life will change. How it changes is not the important part, just know it will change and put your focus there instead.

You’ve heard it said many times before, when you look back at your darkest hours, they were also your greatest gifts because they almost always lead you to making changes that make your life better in every way.

Just as the world healed from the events of 9-11-2001, you too will heal from any and all the events going on in your life right now too. And that’s where you should be putting your attention today.

If you really want a better tomorrow, put your attention on what that looks like today, and you’ll indeed have a much better tomorrow.

If this sounds simple, it is. If it sounds too simple to even bother with, you may be passing up the one thing that really does work in creating better tomorrows.

Go ahead, give it a try. It’s easy and it works.

I’m looking forward to hearing more about your better tomorrows.

The Best Marketing Strategies You Can Use Now

September 4th, 2008 Robert Imbriale No comments

I’m often asked which marketing strategies I would use to get the most response to an offer. While every marketer has their own opinions, there are some marketing strategies that work much faster, and much better than others. Keep in mind that what may work wonders for an information product may not work as well for some other type of product, so the list I’m giving you here is simply MY list and it works for MY business. So peek over my shoulder and have a look at my list, in order of importance:

1- Joint ventures

2- PPC

3- Direct Mail

4- Press Releases

5- Radio and Television

6- Display ads

7- Classified Ads

The fastest way to get sales is with a JV. Nothing you will ever do will bring as many sales as fast as a JV with person or company that has a responsive list. In fact, I always start out with JV’s at the top of my list whenever I have a new product to promote.

If you don’t already have a copy of “No Money Down Marketing” program, it’s filled with the strategies I use to get people to say YES to doing JV’s with me.

You can get it here: http://www.UltimateWealth.com/products.htm

And it’s under $20 for a 2-CD course that’s incredibly valuable.
