For years, e-mail has been the “killer-app” of the web. It was the one thing that was going to kill direct mail and change our world. Well, it has done a lot to move us in that direction, and as you can tell, the US Postal Service is in financial ruin because of mail volume that has dropped by some 23 Billion pieces in the last 24 months alone. But e-mail is also in big trouble now with more than 9 out of every 10 messages being purely spam.
