Why is it that. . .
I’ll bet you’ve wondered why it is some people seem to be able to make money effortlessly, while others seem to never be able to make a dime, no matter how hard they try.
This is indeed an interesting question that really only gets answered when you take the time to look beyond the obvious.
The obvious are things such as what you do for a living, how many hours a week you work, how much you make per hour, etc.
While we tend to get fixated on these things, this is NOT what determines your level of wealth.
Recently, I was watching two people who both began marketing their own web sites. The sites were identical except for the domain names, both of which were catchy .com domains.
They began just weeks apart to market their web sites.
In the first 6 months, one of them had made roughly $20,000 in sales while the other had only managed to get 4 people to sign up for to his mailing list.
You might be thinking that you know what happened here. One of hem did more to promote their web site than the other. Or maybe it was just luck, or maybe one found a better person to joint
venture with.
While there is some truth to those statements, they are only what’s on the surface, and not at all the real cause of the differences between these two men.
It all started BEFORE they bought their web sites. In fact, if you were to ask them just one question before either one of them got their web sites, you’d already be able to tell which one would succeed and which one would fail.
All you would have had to do was ask:
“Why are you getting into this business?”
The answer to this question will determine the level of success you achieve in your business, and in life!
There is no one right answer, but there are many answers that will get you nowhere, and 99% of the people I speak with will answer this question with the same answer; the one that will lead you nowhere.
Now, it’s not your fault. You’ve been taught all your life that the only reason to do anything is to make money. Otherwise, you’d be happy just sitting around doing nothing.
That thinking is what kills your chances of success even before you get started.
Over the years, I’ve watched so many business owners get into business looking to make big money fast.
Years later, they are still trying and getting nowhere. They make no money. They create no sustainable business. And they continue to jump at the next great over-hyped program that is going to make it happen for them once and for all.
They will do this until there is no money left for them to buy more programs and at that time, then and only then will they be willing to look at their true motivations for doing what they do.
You can be smarter than this. You can get on the path to success right now and never look back. And who better to show you the way than somebody who has been there and who has helped many others get there too.
