Social Media Marketing for Business Owners

How to build, promote, and grow your business with social media!

Have a close look at this e-mail message because it contains the clues to successfully using social media to build your business. You’ll notice at the very top left hand side of this message that there are buttons for Facebook, Linkedin, and Twitter.

Go ahead and click on those buttons so you can see how to correctly integrate social media with your e-mail marketing efforts. Think about what I’ve just invited you to do when you click on those social media buttons above.

I’ve invited you to share this e-mail message with your followers, friends, and associates. So instead of this e-mail landing in your inbox for only you to see, it could quite possibly end up being seen by hundreds, or even thousands more people. Not bad for a few small buttons, right?

Well, there’s more. This e-mail includes links to my most important web pages at the top and along the bottom of the message. It also leads you to my blog site where you could possibly decide to subscribe to my RSS feed so you’ll be the first to know when something new is posted to my blog.

Social Networking Secrets You Should Know About

October 1st, 2009 Robert Imbriale No comments

I was having a conversation this week with a client, whom I really love working with, about social media and an interesting point came up in our coaching session.

She mentioned that she had heard a lot about what to do on these social networking sites like Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, and others, but not once was she taught what to say and how to say it to the people she was connecting with!

She had a point. And I’ve seen most people go about the connecting thing all wrong, and in fact, sometimes they mess it up so bad that I simply delete their requests!

First, you’ve got to understand that your connecting to another human being on the other side of all the technology. You’ve got to understand that these people have thoughts, feelings, and emotions just like you. Read more…

Are YOU Making These Same Mistakes on Facebook?

August 19th, 2009 Robert Imbriale No comments

Now this is dumb, really, really, dumb.

Yet, MOST people are doing it every single day and they wonder why they can’t turn a profit using social media.

You wouldn’t dare do it in public, yet you’ll do it online using your social media accounts, and it won’t bother you one tiny bit!

But it’s not just you. Just about everybody is doing it, and instead of attracting new business, they are literally chasing people away with every post, tweet, or update.

What if you could turn it all around and instead of being one who scares new business away, you’d instead be one who attracted business instead? Read more…

How good are you at using social media?

August 12th, 2009 Robert Imbriale No comments

It’s all the rage. Everybody is using it, but how many people are truly getting results, building their business, and improving their lifestyle as a direct result of using social media?

This is something I’ve been looking into for quite some time, and I’m happy to report that there are indeed people making millions using social media!

They usually start from zero. In other words, no web site, no products, no clients. What they have is a simple (it’s always simple) idea that they begin to share with others.

If the idea is fun, entertaining, and worth sharing, their social network begins to grow and soon builds its own momentum. Read more…

Have you tried these social media strategies yet?

There are many tools on the web today that promise to help you build your business. Some of them cost a bundle, some don’t cost anything at all.

Often times, it’s not the tool, but how you use it that makes all the difference. Let’s take social networking sites as an example.

Most people love them, yet few have any real idea how to use them to grow a business. Let me give you a quick, personal example of something I did this morning that literally saved me hours and hours of research.

One of my contacts on Twitter is the Editor-in-Chief of a PCMag.com. He’s a big deal in the computer community and I began following him recently on Twitter.

I was looking for a good, reliable service for delivering e-mail and knew his company sends e-mail 5 or more times per day and it always gets to my inbox. Read more…

This is the best business to own now

March 30th, 2009 Robert Imbriale No comments

I was thinking about you over the weekend. Really. I wanted to give you something that could really help you right now so I sat down and wrote an article that grew into an e-book!

What I wanted you to know was the answer to a question I’ve been getting a lot lately. My clients have been asking me about which is the best business to be in now.

My answer is not what you’d expect, and in fact, my answer is not the kind of answer that you’d get from most anybody else. Read more…

It’s time for you to get going on this. . .

What did I start? I’ve been getting plenty of e-mail asking me questions about what I spoke about on yesterday’s program!

I think I’ve started a lot of my listeners buzzing with ideas about what is possible with a blog and a couple of accounts on the social networks.

Use Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, and MySpace to Build Your Business

I’ve long said that if you could get your marketing message in front of enough people, you’d never have an excuse for not becoming wealthy.

For years, I’ve helped my clients do just that – get their marketing message in front of people. Yet, there are many people who have no idea where to even start this simple, yet important process. Read more…
