<p class="BodyText">Will you &#8220;<strong>shine in &#8216;09</strong>&#8221; or will this next year just be yet another year of struggle for you?</p>
<p class="BodyText">I&#8217;ve been doing a lot of thinking and planning over this past week and I&#8217;ve come up with a ton of new plans and better directions for my company in the new year.</p>
<p class="BodyText">While many people are just hoping to make it through the rougher times ahead, I&#8217;m actually looking at <strong>expanding and growing</strong> my business in 2009!</p>
<p class="BodyText">Now you might think I&#8217;m nuts, and you are entitled to your opinion. If on the other hand, you want to know how to grow your business in the coming year, please keep reading.</p>
<p class="BodyText">The first thing to know is that you&#8217;re not going to be able to do it on your own. It&#8217;s going to take a new level of thinking to make 2009 a better year for you.</p>
<p class="BodyText">Doing what you&#8217;ve done in 2008 simply won&#8217;t cut it in 2009. So the first place to start is by looking for somebody who can help you think &#8220;outside the box.&#8221;</p>
<p class="BodyText">Next, you&#8217;re going to need to do much more to get the same results you&#8217;ve been getting. In other words, what you did to make one sale in 2008, will require that you do 3 times as much to make that same sale.</p>
<p class="BodyText">And there are ways around this, but not if you&#8217;re going at it with the same set of skills you now have. You&#8217;re going to need to improve on your marketing and selling skills, and it&#8217;s a great idea to tap into somebody else&#8217;s knowledge, skills, and experience to get you where you need to be fast.</p>
<p class="BodyText">Finally, in 2009, the marketplace will continue to change dramatically. The very way you approach your customers is changing, new technologies are literally making the tried-and-true obsolete and you must stay on top of these changes in order to successfully navigate the changes that are here now and that are coming in 2009.</p>
<p class="BodyText">One of my favorite past-times is to review all the next generation technologies and to play with them as soon as they are available. This has kept me on top of it all for more than 2 decades.</p>
<p class="BodyText">But all that knowledge won&#8217;t buy tomorrow&#8217;s cup of coffee unless it is put into action, shared, and acted upon. This is why so many of the business owners I work with absolutely love what I do for them.</p>
<p class="BodyText">Not only do I help them to think outside the box, I can see things they could never see. With my undying passion for what&#8217;s new, what&#8217;s working, and what&#8217;s coming next, they can stay on top of the changes that are coming our way.</p>

<p class="BodyText">This e-mail is an example, and also a test, in some ways. Don&#8217;t worry, I&#8217;m not going to grade you, that&#8217;s for you to do.</p>
<p class="BodyText">You see, many folks will see this message and do anything they can to get it off their computer as fast as they can. However, there is a smaller group of people who will read what&#8217;s in this and every other e-mail and decide whether or not to <strong>take action now. </strong></p>
<p class="BodyText">There is no mystery to as why these folks end up <strong>creating incredibly successful businesses</strong>, and end up <strong>being the envy of everybody </strong>else. Simply put, they don&#8217;t let anything slip through their fingers.</p>
<p class="BodyText">Oh, and one more thing, they never, ever, say to themselves that they can&#8217;t afford what&#8217;s being offered, no matter how high the price tag might be. Instead, they ask &#8220;how can they afford this?&#8221; and then <strong>find ways to make it happen</strong>.</p>

<p>That seems the be the big question this week from friends and relatives. Are you done with your shopping yet?</p>
<p>I like to think you never really finish your gift shopping, and in fact I do like to offer gifts to people all year long because of great it makes me feel inside.</p>
<p>While I know you&#8217;re likely running yourself ragged chasing sales, and beating the crowds, remember that the real gift is that you took the time to care.</p>
<p>You care about what you&#8217;re giving: is it the right size, color? Will they use it?</p>
<p>You care about the person you&#8217;re giving the gift too, as you picture them in your mind with a smile from ear to ear when they open their gift - the very gift you spent all that extra time searching for.</p>
<p>Every year, it&#8217;s always so great to see how this simple act of giving literally changes everything in our society. People tend to be more friendly to you, there are more smiles eagerly shared between complete strangers, and there is that &#8220;Holiday Spirit&#8221; that is so powerful, if you stop for a moment, you can actually feel it.</p>
<p>I often wonder what our world would look like if we could enjoy the Holiday Spirit energy all year long.</p>
<p>What&#8217;s most interesting to me is that we are all givers at heart. There is not greater joy in life than being able to do something that makes somebody smile, it even for a moment.</p>
<p>I want to give you something here that you can use, right now, and for the rest of your life that will immediately improve how you feel, every single time.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s so simple, most people reading this won&#8217;t bother even trying it, but if you&#8217;re the one out of a hundred who will give it a try, I know you&#8217;ll be very happy with the results.</p>
<p>The idea is not new, it&#8217;s not something you haven&#8217;t heard before, and right now, it&#8217;s more important than ever that you put it to use.<br />
Simply put, do something nice for somebody you care about as often as you can. For me that means doing something nice several times a day, not just around the holidays, but every day of the year.</p>
<p>It could as simple as smiling brightly at a total stranger, giving them the universal &#8220;You&#8217;re Alright Just The Way You Are&#8221; sign we all crave deep inside to hear.</p>
<p>It could be a simple e-mail comment to say that I noticed when that person did something great.</p>
<p>I could be a hug, a gift, or in my case, a missing piece of the puzzle for a business owner who finds themselves stuck or unable to get to the next level.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m not suggesting you give it all away, just a little note here, a smile there, a few kind words over there, and then step back and notice how it makes YOU feel when you do these things.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m sure you&#8217;ll find that it does wonders for you, and if you understand the true path to success, you&#8217;ll understand that nothing is more important in life than how you feel.</p>
<p>And there is no more empowering feeling than that of having put a smile on somebody&#8217;s face. Try it, today, right now. Do something to make somebody smile.</p>
<p>Just know that this little habit can become very addicting!</p>

<p class="BodyText">Google does have an industry-leading product, but that brings with it some challenges. The biggest of which is the cost per click.</p>
<p class="BodyText">TO get around that, I&#8217;ve been using other PPC search tools, getting plenty of traffic, and paying 3 to 10 cents per click instead of 50 cents to more than 5 dollars per click.</p>

<p>Sadly, far too many business owners never do this and they wonder why year after year things really don&#8217;t seem to improve all that much.</p>

<p>When something come across their desk and it looks interesting to them, they make a decision on it right then and there, and they work out the details later.</p>
<p>By contrast, business owners who tend to struggle also share a common tenancy with regards to making decisions. When something of interest comes across their desk, they set it aside, usually in a pile, and plan on getting back to it when they have more time.</p>
<p>Can you see the challenge with that thinking? As the pile grows and grows and grows, there is less and less time to deal with it, so it eventually ends up in the recycle bin.</p>
<p>What&#8217;s lost is too great to be measured. What they pass up could change their lives. What they miss out on could help them to build an empire, but instead they continue to struggle, never making any real decisions and never really understanding why things just never seem to get any better.</p>
<p>I should know, I used to operate like that. Now that I know better, when something hot comes along, I jump at it right away and worry about the details of how to make it all work later.</p>

<p>Now, I no longer share anything that I don&#8217;t own and use myself, because that just would not be fair. I&#8217;ve done it before and learned the hard way, that&#8217;s not good business.</p>
<p>Today I want to share something with you that if you follow what I&#8217;m going to tell you, can have you in a position to build your list with buyers in no time flat!</p>
<p>First, a quick marketing lesson. Building your list is the most important thing you can do in order to create a profitable business - no exceptions.</p>
<p>Building your list with people who have paid you is many times better than building a list by giving something away for nothing. Buyers will buy and buy and buy. Tire-kickers will continue to kick tires. You want buyers, not tire-kickers on your list.</p>
<p>How do you do that? You offer something at a very low dollar amount that has great value. Sounds simple, right?</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Look at the calendar today. Do you see just how close we are to the end of this year? It&#8217;s usually right about this time that people start to look back and wonder just what happened to the year.</p>
<p>Time does indeed fly by fast when you&#8217;ve got things going on in every direction, but how much of all the busy-ness has really resulted in creating the kind of financial success you&#8217;d been hoping for this year?</p>
<p>Think back to January of this year and to all the goals and plans you had for the New Year. Did you hit most of them? Some of them? Not even one of them?</p>
<p>What will you do differently this time around? Here are some things to consider:</p>
<p>First, doing what you&#8217;ve done is not going to result in getting much more than it&#8217;s gotten you in the past. So you know you need a new approach, some new ideas, and maybe some additional motivation.</p>
<p>Where do you start? Who can you turn to for answers? And, how can you justify the expense?</p>
<p>Start with understanding that you can&#8217;t do it all alone. There are just too many skills you would need to master, and there aren&#8217;t enough years in your lifetime to become great at all of them. So you need to enlist some help.</p>
<p>In my case, I&#8217;ve had the most success in both my business life and also in my personal life using two resources. Early on in my career, when I didn&#8217;t have any money, I&#8217;d invest in tapes and CD&#8217;s from speakers who had answers. Before long, I had hundreds of these programs and would listen to them anytime I was in the car.</p>
<p>I literally got an advanced education while sitting in traffic to and from my day job!</p>
<p>When I had more money, I started to attend seminars. Back then there weren&#8217;t many teleseminars out there, so I attended seminars that usually required me to travel, sometimes clear across the country!</p>
<p>The next level for me was hiring a coach. That allowed me to take the knowledge I&#8217;d gained from the tapes and seminars and really begin to put it into action in my life. I was hooked because I saw such vast improvement in every area of life, including in my business.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve had as many as 6 coaches at one time, and never have fewer than 2 that I work with at any given time. When I look back at my life, I can honestly say it&#8217;s not yet perfect, but you would not even recognize me today if you knew me just 10 years ago. I&#8217;ve made so many incredible strides forward a lot faster than I would have otherwise had I tried to do it all alone.</p>
<p>What about you?</p>
<p>Are you making great strides forward? Have you seen measurable progress in your business since January of this year? What are you planning to do differently that will get you on the path to success?</p>
<p>Here are some suggestions for you.</p>
<p>1- Home Study Programs</p>
<p>If money is tight, invest whatever you can in some home study programs. But don&#8217;t just invest in them, take the CD&#8217;s out of the wrapper and slip them into your CD player and play them.</p>
<p>Make this a habit. To this day, in my car, there are these kinds of CD&#8217;s and I do listen to them about 80% of the time I&#8217;m in the car. There&#8217;s a reason why my knowledge base continues to expand and why I&#8217;m more and more successful each and every year.</p>

<p>2- Live Seminars</p>
<p>If want more of a hands-on experience, enroll in at least one seminar, teleseminar, or workshop before the end of the year.</p>
<p>This is one step up from the pre-recorded programs and will likely require a larger investment, but the results are typically faster and the learning more profound when you can surround yourself with like-minded people.</p>

I coach business owners who are brand new to the world of business, and I speak with seasoned veterans, some of who have been running successful businesses for 30 years or more.</p>

<p class="BodyText">There are truly few real secrets to all of this. Most of what you need to know is already within your grasp, but so too is so much of what you don&#8217;t need, and that is why so many would-be multimillionaire business owners never get anywhere.</p>
<p class="BodyText">What I really do for people, more often than anything else, is help them to see their way through the clutter. I help them to pick and choose the ideas, tools, and strategies that will help them the most.</p>
<p class="BodyText">What&#8217;s interesting to watch, from my perspective, is just how quickly my clients turn things around. If you&#8217;ve ever wondered what you&#8217;re doing wrong, or why you&#8217;re not moving forward faster than you are, my guess is that you&#8217;re simply in need of an outside view of what you&#8217;re doing.</p>

<p class="BodyText">Here&#8217;s the way I like to look at it. When a major corporation is having trouble, what they do is get rid of the CEO. Why do they do this? They do it because they need somebody in that position with a new vision, a fresh perspective.</p>
<p class="BodyText">We do it in government every 4 years. But where you can&#8217;t really do this is in your own business. Are you going to fire yourself? Not likely. So what can you do instead?</p>
<p class="BodyText">The best thing you can do is to hire a coach. Yes, invest the money, and get a fresh perspective on what you&#8217;re doing so that you can get past any and every block that has been keeping you from creating the kind of success you really want.</p>
<p class="BodyText">What do I know about this? Well, I&#8217;ve had as many as 6 coaches working with me, and always have at least 2 working with me on different areas of my life. This keeps me moving forward, and it keeps me on track for creating a more successful business.</p>
<p class="BodyText">When I discovered this &#8220;secret&#8221; back in 1995, I was amazed at just how powerful an idea it really was. I hired my first coach not that long after that and have never been without one since that day!</p>
