What if you could actually become wealthier by spending more  money?

What if, saving your money was NOT the way to become wealthy?

And what if you could start today, right now, spending your way  to wealth?

The real question is would you do it?

It sounds very counter-intuitive, yet there is a real and true  magic to the act of moving money in and out of your bank account.  Let me explain.

For most of my career, I’ve used the act of spending to grow my  business. No, I didn’t grow up in a wealthy family, nor did I  inherited great wealth.

But I used the act of being able to spend money as my REASON for  making it. Let me explain.

I am always setting goals to buy things. It may be a new camera.  It may be a new computer. Or it could be something like a new  car, a new home, or a new office space for my business.

When I set a goal like this, I decide that to pay for it, I will  have to earn the money first. No credit cards, no tapping into  savings. If I want the thing I’ve decided that I want, I have to  earn it.

Now, what I find is that the more excited I am about buying the  thing I really, really want, the more motivated I am to do  whatever I can to earn the money to buy it.

Here’s the process in detail:

First start out by making a list of some of the things you really  want. I use a simple text editor to do this with and I include  all kinds of things on my list from pieces of software to real  estate.

This list is a living list that I check often, add to often, and  check off the things on the list that I have purchased. It’s  always fun to look back at this list each year to see how many of  my “wishes” have been realized!

The next step is to make one of these items your priority. In  other words, which one do you the most? Once you get that, the  next step is to think about what you would need to do in order to  get the money to buy that item.

For me, it could be that I would need to create a new program and  sell a certain number of copies. It could be that I would have to  enroll a new coaching client, book a new speaking engagement, or  it could be something simple like generating a few additional  sales of an existing program.

It’s different all the time for me, and that keeps it  interesting!

So now you know how you can use spending money as a powerful tool  for making money. Oh, and the idea is NOT to spend everything you  make, just enough to keep you motivated!

This is not just my own strategy, it’s one that is used by most  of the highly successful people I know too.

Go ahead and give it a try, you might be surprised at just how  well it works for you!
